About Justin
Born and raised in Raleigh, NC, Justin graduated from East Carolina University in 2017 with a BFA in Theatre, focusing on Lighting Design and Stage Management. While attending ECU, Justin spent his summers in the small town of Wooster, OH working at The Ohio Light Opera. During his five summer stint at OLO, Justin grew from an electrician learning the ropes, to becoming one of the festival season lighting designers. Upon finishing his last summer of OLO after graduation, Justin took up an internship opportunity at Playhouse on the Square as the Lighting Design Associate Company Member, designing shows at the Circuit Theatre, as well as being an electrician on the Playhouse main-stage shows. Eight months into the 10 month internship, Justin was promoted to the full-time staff position at POTS, being the Resident Lighting Designer/Master Electrician of the Playhouse stage, and becoming supervisor to the intern position. Justin is currently a first year graduate student at Wayne State University.
